Carmen De Santiago is a self-taught acrylic artist whose vibrant work reflects a lifelong connection to creativity and cultural heritage. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Carmen discovered her passion for art at an early age while attending private school, where her artistic journey first began.

In 1981, she moved to Miami, Florida, pursuing a different career path and eventually building a successful property management business. After relocating to Dunnellon, Florida in 2006 and entering retirement, Carmen reconnected with her true passion—painting. Inspired by her family’s artistic roots—her mother and aunt were visual artists, and her father a gifted musician—creativity has always been an integral part of her life.
