A native of Orlando, Florida, Sharon Dolce O’Keefe now lives in the Ocala area. A lifelong artist and educator, she brings over 45 years of experience in art instruction across private studios, group workshops, and classroom settings. Throughout her career, she has inspired generations of students—many of whom have gone on to pursue professional paths in fine arts, music, theatre, and education.

O’Keefe’s work is deeply influenced by the natural world, drawing inspiration from the landscapes of the American West, tropical environments, wildlife, and the human spirit. She is particularly known for her expressive animal and portrait work, while her recent explorations in abstraction reflect an evolving and dynamic creative voice.
